What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of Grace Life Fellowship based on the foundational truth of Jesus Christ the Word made Flesh  and the Chief Cornerstone.
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,  having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,  in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, n whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. 

God has revealed himself to us through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God. Jesus came to reveal the Father and to reveal who we are in the Fathers eyes. When you See Jesus you see the Father.

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve were created in the image of God to bear the fruit of Gods likeness to then  be fruitful and to fill the earth with the fulness of Gods Life

When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what  they were made to be and became distorted images of God.  The death that came over Adam and Eve  then caused them to run  and hide in fear  from the one who created them and who has always loved them. The fall never changed Gods mind about man the fall cause mans mind to be changed about God. We are transformed by the renewal of Our Minds.

Jesus Christ the word made flesh came to reconcile us back to God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross and in his body sin and death were put to death. God then raised Jesus from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift  life  and immortality of Life to all who receive Christ who is eternal life.

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to  shine and glorify God. To bear the fruit of Gods love and life as we behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus .

The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead  now lives in the heart of every believer. this is the Life that now is. We also believe in the Life to come that is the  physical return of  Jesus Christ in which the final redemption of all creation will be completely  fulfilled . There will be no death or corruption .  His kingdom will come and His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven .
